A German style Christmas market featuring holiday cheer, music, artisanal and lifestyle products, decorations, authentic German food like the pretzels, lebkuchen, bratwurst & warm artisanal coffee.

Germany’s Christmas markets date back to medieval times, the oldest evidence of Nürnberg’s Christmas market is from 1628, though some sources say it goes back to 1530.The Christkindl is the equivalent of Santa Claus in Germany and is considered a gift giver.

One of the most sought-after events at this Christkindlesmarkt is the appearance of the Nürnberg Christkindl. Clad in a golden dress and adorning a glimmering crown and flowing blonde hair, the Christkindl visits this Christmas market to spread cheer and holiday wishes.
